VR Centre

Presentation of four audio-tacile works, Janurary 2010.  Centred on a ‘vibration table,’ a raised platform incorporating a heavy duty tactile transducer / bass shaker.  Quadraphonic surround compositions integrated with the tactile experience, to explore a dialogue between the senses of touch and hearing. Participants could sit or recline on the platform to experience enveloping sound and sensation derived from rattling windowpanes, sheet metal, tiles, wires and glasses.
